Itinerary

  • Arrival in London and shared transfer from London Heathrow Airport to the tour hotel. Free time at your leisure.Accommodation and breakfast at Hyatt Place London City East, President Hotel, Royal National, or similar.

  • After breakfast, we begin our journey towards Stonehenge, one of the world’s most intriguing wonders. We’ll visit this grand and mystical circle of stones, which has stood for over 5,000 years and has inspired awe and curiosity throughout the centuries. Set in the heart of the Salisbury Plain, it is surrounded by ancient burial mounds and prehistoric carvings, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Our next stop is Salisbury, a charming medieval city in Wiltshire, England, renowned for its magnificent Salisbury Cathedral. It features the tallest spire in the country and houses one of the four original copies of the Magna Carta.After some free time for lunch, we’ll end the day in Bath, starting with a stop at the Royal Crescent and a walking tour of the city’s main highlights. You’ll then have free time to explore Bath at your own pace. Don’t miss Bath Abbey, an impressive 18th-century church with a stunning façade and ornate interior, or the Pulteney Bridge, a beautiful three-arch Georgian bridge over the River Avon.Accommodation and breakfast at Hampton by Hilton Bath or similar.

  • After breakfast, we travel to Oxford, a city steeped in centuries of academic history. We’ll enjoy a walking tour of the historic centre, exploring its iconic colleges, libraries, and university buildings. Oxford University has educated some of the most influential thinkers in history, from Stephen Hawking to Oscar Wilde.Highlights include the Bodleian Library, a true temple of knowledge, and the streets that have inspired generations of scholars and writers.After lunch, we continue to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. The picturesque town centre and the house where the famous playwright was born will transport us to another era.Accommodation and breakfast at Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel or similar.

  • After breakfast, we head to Chester, founded in 79 AD as the Roman fortress Deva. It was a major Roman military settlement. Its medieval walls, still encircling the old town, are the most complete in Britain. The city is also famous for the Chester Rows, unique two-level medieval shopping galleries.After lunch, we continue to Liverpool, where we’ll explore its vibrant musical heritage and maritime past. The Beatles Story Museum (admission included) takes us on an incredible journey through the story of the world’s most famous band. Later, stroll around the Albert Dock and, in the evening, experience the legendary Cavern Club, where the Beatles began their career.Accommodation and breakfast at Heeton Concept Hotel - City Centre Liverpool or similar.

  • After breakfast, we depart Liverpool and head to the historic elegance of York. Founded by the Romans in AD 71, conquered by the Vikings in the 9th century, and later developed into a fortified medieval city, York retains its historical charm.We’ll take a walking tour of the old town, passing the majestic York Minster Cathedral and exploring the city's fascinating streets. The afternoon is free to stroll York’s charming streets and discover centuries-old shops and cafés.One of the highlights is The Shambles, a medieval street with overhanging timber-framed buildings that feels straight out of a fairy tale. It’s said to have inspired Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter films. Don’t miss The Shop That Must Not Be Named, filled with magical merchandise for fans of the series.Accommodation and breakfast at Ibis Styles York or similar.

  • On the final stretch of our tour, we head to Cambridge, a city marked by history and intellectual brilliance. Founded in 1209, it has been home to some of the world’s most influential minds, including Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking, and Charles Darwin.Its academic legacy is everywhere, with prestigious colleges and centuries-old libraries. Highlights include the Cambridge University Library, and the Bridge of Sighs, a stunning covered bridge at St John’s College reminiscent of its Venetian namesake.After exploring the city and comparing it to Oxford, we return to London.

  • In the morning, we will enjoy a panoramic coach tour of London, visiting the neighborhoods of Westminster, Kensington, Mayfair, and Belgravia. We will stop for photos at the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the London Eye, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Albert Memorial.We will also watch the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (provided it takes place that day).The tour continues through the West End (theatre and restaurant district), Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, and several major cultural sites such as: the Natural History Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Science Museum, and the National Gallery.This excursion will end at Buckingham Palace around 11:45 a.m., and you'll have the rest of the day free to explore more of this magnificent city.Accommodation and breakfast at President Hotel, Royal National or similar.
