Itinerary

  • Shared transfer from London Heathrow Airport to the hotel. Accommodation and breakfast at the President Hotel, Royal National Hotel, or similar.

  • In the morning, we will take a panoramic bus tour of London, visiting the neighborhoods of Westminster, Kensington, Mayfair, and Belgravia. We will stop to photograph the Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the London Eye, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Albert Memorial. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (provided it takes place that day). We will tour the West End (theater and restaurant district), Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, and culturally significant areas such as the Natural History Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Science Museum, and the National Gallery. This excursion will end at Buckingham Palace around 11:45 a.m., and you will have the rest of the day free in London to explore more of this magnificent city.   • We will leave London heading northwest until we reach the university city of Oxford, where we will take a brief walking tour to admire its magnificent college buildings. The University of Oxford is not only very prestigious but also the oldest English-speaking university in the world. From Oxford, we will head to Stratford-Upon-Avon, a charming town on the banks of the River Avon and the birthplace of the playwright William Shakespeare. In this beautiful town, we will take a panoramic tour with a stop for lunch. Afterwards, we will continue north to the walled city of Chester for a walking tour. Then, we will proceed to a panoramic tour of Liverpool, the birthplace of the most famous rock band: The Beatles, and European Capital of Culture in 2008. In Liverpool, you will find one of the largest ports in England, including the well-known area of Albert Dock. Dinner, accommodation, and breakfast at the Delta by Marriott Liverpool City Centre, Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel, or similar.

  • Our journey will take us northwest through England’s Lake District, once a place of inspiration for English poets and writers like Beatrix Potter and now a paradise for nature lovers due to its wide variety of flora and fauna. Along Lake Grasmere, we will cross the border into Scotland via Gretna Green (famous for its history of runaway weddings), where we will have free time for lunch. We will continue northward and make a brief visit to the United Kingdom’s third-largest city: Glasgow. You will be captivated by its Victorian architecture and unique charm. Affectionately nicknamed "Glasvegas," this city offers a perfect mix of culture, shopping, gastronomy, and nightlife. Accommodation and breakfast at the Radisson Red Glasgow Hotel, Maldron Glasgow Hotel, or similar.

  • We will leave Glasgow following the beautiful shores of Loch Lomond, the largest lake in Great Britain by surface area. Next, we will enter the Scottish Highlands. We will pass through the majestic mountainous landscapes of Glencoe, an impressive valley that holds in its silence stories of forbidden romance, unforgettable betrayals, and epic battles between ancient Scottish clans. We will arrive in Fort William, a picturesque town located at the foot of Ben Nevis, where we will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will reach the famous Loch Ness in search of its ancient resident, "Nessie." You can take an optional boat ride on Loch Ness, and afterwards, we will visit the ruins of Urquhart Castle. We will then travel along the shores of the lake heading to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, where we will take a panoramic tour to see the main sights of the city, such as Inverness Castle and its Cathedral. Dinner, accommodation, and breakfast at the MacDonald Aviemore Hotel, Highland Hotel Coylumbridge, Highlander Hotel Aviemore, or a similar hotel in the area.

  • After breakfast, we will head through mid-mountain landscapes toward Pitlochry. There, we will visit a whisky distillery where we will learn about the production process and taste Scotland’s national drink. We will continue our journey to Callander and Stirling, where one of the most important battles of the Wars of Independence between Scotland and England took place. The Battle of Stirling Bridge (famous from the movie Braveheart) in 1297 was William Wallace’s greatest victory and made him the undisputed leader of the resistance against the English. We will visit Stirling Castle, located atop a rocky promontory with impressive views. There will be free time for lunch. Afterwards, we will proceed to Edinburgh, where we will take a panoramic tour of the city before arriving at the hotel. Tonight, you will have the option to attend a Scottish dinner accompanied by traditional Scottish folk music (optional).   • Free day to enjoy the charming city of Edinburgh. You will have admission to visit Edinburgh Castle on your own. Among the main attractions are: the Palace of Holyroodhouse, St. Giles' Cathedral, the National Gallery of Scotland, and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Edinburgh is considered the second most visited city in the United Kingdom after London and has been the seat of the Scottish Parliament since 1999. The Parliament building itself is impressive, and it’s worth visiting its green space in Princes Street Gardens. Accommodation and breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Centre, Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh, Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo, or a similar hotel.

  • We will leave Edinburgh heading south, traveling through the rolling landscapes of the Lowlands to reach Jedburgh. This area was the scene of border conflicts, where we will visit the remains of its impressive Augustinian Abbey. Our route will continue to the historic city of Durham, dominated by its magnificent cathedral, where we will have free time for lunch. We will then proceed to York. This beautiful city of Roman origin has a rich history linked to Vikings and Saxons. There will be time for a short walk through its charming streets, and you will have the opportunity to see the exterior of the largest cathedral in Northern Europe. Dinner, accommodation, and breakfast at the Crowne Plaza Harrogate, Cedar Court Hotel, Yorkshire, or a similar hotel.

  • Our route will take us south to the charming university city of Cambridge, which rivals Oxford not only in education and sports but also in beauty and architectural richness. This is the quintessential university city where we can take a walking tour to admire architecture from different eras in the ancient University Colleges. The University was founded in 1209 and is the second oldest English-speaking university in the world. Great minds such as Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking, and Charles Darwin have walked its halls. We will have free time for lunch and to stroll through its university colleges and historic streets. From Cambridge, we will return directly to London, arriving around 6:00 p.m. Accommodation and breakfast at the President Hotel, Royal National Hotel, or similar.

  • After breakfast, our assistant will accompany you on an exciting journey across the English Channel, crossing the Eurotunnel (the impressive underwater connection between England and continental Europe) heading to Paris, the French capital. The trip will be made by Eurostar train or on our comfortable coach, with direct arrival to the heart of the city.   • Breakfast and a half-day panoramic tour of the main points of interest. Paris, the capital of France, is a vibrant city full of history. Known as the City of Light, it is famous for its iconic architecture, exquisite cuisine, and romantic atmosphere. Among its most significant historical events is the French Revolution, which began with the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789. This event marked the beginning of profound political and social changes in France. During the Belle Époque, the city became a hub of creativity, attracting artists like Pablo Picasso and writers like Ernest Hemingway. Additionally, the construction of the Eiffel Tower in 1889 symbolized the progress and modernity of the era. We will also visit the Old Market Square, the historic site where Joan of Arc was executed in 1431. Next, we will head to Étretat, a picturesque coastal village in Normandy, famous for its impressive white chalk cliffs rising above the English Channel. Among its most iconic formations are the Porte d’Aval and the Aiguille, which have inspired artists like Monet and Courbet. Besides its natural beauty, Étretat offers artistic gardens, traditional architecture, and a serene atmosphere ideal for those who enjoy art and nature. There will be free time for lunch.   • After breakfast, we will head to Mont Saint-Michel, one of the most iconic and magical places in France. This rocky islet, crowned by an impressive medieval abbey built in the 8th century, has been expanded over the centuries and offers a unique experience. Entrance to the abbey is included, allowing you to discover its monumental architecture and spectacular views. We will stroll through its charming cobbled streets while learning about the history of this fascinating site, which changes its appearance with every tide.
  • We will continue to Rennes, the vibrant capital of the Brittany region. We will walk through its charming old town, full of timber-framed houses, and visit the emblematic Brittany Parliament Square, a symbol of regional power. There will be free time for lunch — don’t forget to try the Breton galette, a true local delicacy.
  • We will end the day in Nantes, a city that blends history and modernity with surprising harmony. We will admire the majestic exterior of the Dukes of Brittany Castle and delve into the fantastic world of the Machines Island, whose creations are inspired by the work of Jules Verne, the city’s beloved son.

  • We will have breakfast before heading to La Rochelle, a charming coastal city with a remarkable historical heritage. Its cobbled streets will lead us to the Old Port, where iconic medieval towers still stand watch over the waters like sentinels of its maritime past. We will also have the opportunity to admire the La Rochelle Aquarium, one of the largest in Europe, perfect for marine life enthusiasts. Lunch is free in La Rochelle, with time to enjoy its culinary offerings by the harbor. In the afternoon, we will continue to Bordeaux, a vibrant and refined city known for its impressive architecture and deep-rooted wine culture. We will stroll through the magnificent Place de la Bourse, where the famous Water Mirror creates reflections that seem like a dream, and admire the grand facade of the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, an 18th-century neoclassical gem. At sunset, we suggest taking a walk through the lively Saint-Pierre district, full of charming restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine (dinner not included).   • After breakfast, you will enjoy a free morning in Bordeaux to continue exploring this vibrant and elegant city. Upon arrival, we will take a walk around Place Charles de Gaulle and admire the Church of Notre-Dame la Grande, a charming square that invites you to soak in the local atmosphere.Finally, we will arrive in Tours, a city with a medieval soul and youthful spirit, located on the banks of the Loire River. Known as the gateway to the castles of the Loire Valley, Tours combines history, art, and gastronomy in a welcoming setting. Its old town, with cobbled streets and half-timbered houses, is perfect for wandering aimlessly.   • After breakfast, we will set off towards the majestic Château de Chambord, one of the most iconic jewels of the Loire Valley. Built by order of King Francis I in the 16th century, this castle is a masterpiece of French Renaissance architecture, combining medieval elements with classical Italian influences. Its monumental design includes over 400 rooms, 365 chimneys, and a famous double-helix staircase, attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, which allows two people to ascend and descend without crossing paths. From its terraces, you can enjoy panoramic views of the vast park surrounding it, home to deer and wild boar. Entrance to the castle is included so you can explore its halls, galleries, and rooftops adorned with towers and chimneys that look like something out of a fairy tale.
  • After the visit, we will continue to Orléans, a historic city on the banks of the Loire River, deeply connected to the figure of Joan of Arc, who led the liberation of the city in 1429 during the Hundred Years' War. We will stroll through its old town, where half-timbered houses, lively squares, and charming streets are preserved. We will admire the imposing Cathedral of the Holy Cross, with its stained glass windows depicting the life of the French heroine, and the Place du Martroi, dominated by an equestrian statue of Joan. Orléans is also known for its welcoming atmosphere, Renaissance heritage, and renewed cultural dynamism.
  • Lunch is at your own leisure in Orléans, ideal for tasting local cuisine at one of its traditional bistros. In the afternoon, we will head back to Paris, where you can enjoy your last night in the city. Accommodation and breakfast at the Novotel Paris Suresnes Longchamp or similar.

Important Notes

  • HOTELS: Due to the Annual Labour Party Conference in Liverpool, the tour hotel could be changed to Manchester or the surrounding area if hotel demand requires it. This event is usually held in September.
  • The 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow (23 July–2 August) could make the city busier than usual. Due to high demand, the hotel tour may be transferred out of Glasgow. We will keep you informed of any changes. Thank you for your understanding!
